It was a text out of the blue, but from someone I could hardly ignore.

'Greg, This is Jordon Hudson. Call me.'

I was flying on assignment at the time. But after landing I connected with 73-year-old Bill Belichick's ultra-age-gap 'runaway train' girlfriend – curious as to why she might be anxious to speak.

For 30 minutes I mostly listened…. and listened....and listened.

Within seconds, I realized you need to be patient when former cheerleader Hudson is speaking. Any hint of an interruption is not to be encouraged.

Yet that call in June last year proved a fascinating insight into what is now publicly – and excruciatingly – unfolding as the unlikely romance continues its wacky trajectory.

The most confusing part of this fiasco to me, is why did he go with an average looking girl like Jordon? I have seen girls working checkout and waitresses that are much more beautiful than Hudson. She is OK ... I guess, but I would not throw my life away for her. She has probably above average looks. But a drop-dead knockout she is not.


Of all the women Belichick could have had, he goes with this ... why?

I guess I don't follow, she shuts down an interview that got personal (and was NOTB). I have no problems with that, keep the interview above the waistline.

They are over 18 y/o and then some... He knows what she wants and she knows what he wants... Oh Well, good luck with that but it really is none of my business, they ain't politicians.

Gonna disagree, she looks like a pretty lady, but doesn't hold a candle to my lady. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and that judgement is on the surface, I have no idea her real beauty, but I did like she shut down the reporter that was asking questions that had nothing to do with football.

I had to laugh at the Babylon Bee headline about Belichick's girlfriend dumping him for Lou Holtz.  :laugh:
