I think someone pressured him to do that though. He doesn't care about the movie industry


I believe many big-budget U.S. films are shot in England, Canada and other places because these countries offer hugh tax breaks to studios to shoot outside the U.S, These films usually make the majority of money from the U.S..

Does Hollywood still need to make special edits of their movies for Chinese audiences to appease the Chinese Communist Party censors?

Leone's movies were largely made in Spain and Italy, although he also filmed in Utah.

Then there was his comments about how little girls don’t need 40 dolls, when 2 dolls will do.   Does that sound like something a Make America Great Again Republican would say?  Him in his golden estates with his “let them eat cake” moment.
