What does the trucker strike have to do with Canada being uber liberal? I thought the trucker strike was a clear sign how not free the Canadian people are. Many think they are just like us, but I beg to differ.
I spent almost a year up there on a consulting gig, and I was shocked by a number of things there, particularly how aggressive the women are to find a guy to marry. I got asked about marriage more often than not before I even took them out on a date. Would you move here and live in Canada was the other question out of the gun before a date.
Last time I was in Canada, they all but searched every orifice. I told them I would never return. I had booked rooms for six folks traveling with me, and they held me up at customs for three hours. Went through my bags 2-3 times. I told the last agent, a female, when I was leaving that I would never return to this f***ed up country again. Idiots. Ignorant beyond reason.
I had hoped to go to a casino the night I arrived, and I was so pissed, I said I am not giving these POSs one dime more of my money than I had to. Next day, I could not wait to depart. Halifax, the *ss end of the world from my view, and I would rather sit on my back porch before ever traveling to that screwed up country.
With Trump's moronic rhetoric regarding making it the 51st state, I cringed at the thought. I would rather annex Russia than Canada. At least the people in Russia would welcome being a part of the USA given the chance, the Canadians would hate being incorporated into the USA. They are special! Or so they think!
