‘Totally Corrupt’: Calls Grow for Letitia James to Resign

Knewz.com is reporting that New York Attorney General Letitia James is facing a federal criminal referral accusing her of mortgage fraud tied to several property deals. The Federal Housing Finance Agency claims she falsified documents to get home loans, falsely claiming a Virginia property as her main residence. The referral claims James misrepresented the unit count of a Brooklyn property and listed herself and her father as “husband and wife” on old mortgage documents.

President Donald Trump and many of his supporters have called for James to resign. Referring to James as a "wacky crook," Trump wrote to social media, "Letitia James, a totally corrupt politician, should resign from her position as New York State Attorney General, immediately."

I believe that in New York State (as odd as it seems) the governor has the power to remove the mayor of New York City.

Does she also have the power to fire the attorney general?
If so, it may come to that.

Hochul and James are birds of a feather as they both fluff their nests using their power.

Don't hold your breath expecting James to go quietly.
