'I'm a girl from the Bronx,' AOC proclaims in a new campaign video

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., has crisscrossed the United States with Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., on the "Fighting Oligarchy" tour, and Americans are speculating about whether the New York Democrat is launching a shadow campaign for president.

Ocasio-Cortez's campaign account posted a video on X this week that invigorated those rumors as the four-term Democrat from New York City and a progressive leader proclaimed, "We are one."

"I'm a girl from the Bronx," Ocasio-Cortez said on a campaign-style stage in Idaho. "To be welcomed here in this state, all of us together, seeing our common cause, this is what this country is all about."

FiveThirtyEight founder and prominent pollster Nate Silver signaled earlier this month that Ocasio-Cortez is the leading Democrat to pick up the party's presidential nomination in 2028. In a draft 2028 pick with FiveThirtyEight's Galen Druke, Silver chose Ocasio-Cortez as his top choice to lead the Democratic Party's presidential ticket.

'We Are One' ... that's what would Hitler or Stalin would say.

Biden's thing was 'Unity'.

Dems like those things to quell independent thinking and diversity of opinion amongst the unwashed deplorable masses.

Will Dems have a real, competitive Presidential Primary?  Or will it be fixed like 2016, 2020, and 2024?

I'm presuming 'We Are One' is an allusion to their propensity for the confiscation and redistribution of private wealth ... except for themselves and their beautiful limousine liberal hypocrite friends and donors.

Occasional Cortexes biggest detriment is her speaking.  She can't stop talking. They'll limit AOC's unscripted camera time ... like they do with Elizabeth Warren and they did with Kackles.

AOC will only appear on friendly shows and networks ... The View ... Colbert ... etc ... even Cackles manged to F that up when, on The View, she said she was going to do everything the same as Biden.

This is the same playbook they used to elevate Obama to the national stage. I noticed it even back when she was first elected. The amount of publicity she got for her primary win in deep-blue NYC reminded me so much of how they used the dirty tricks against Jack Ryan to raise Obama's profile, where a local (or in Obama's case state) race gets national recognition where it otherwise would not. They wouldn't give her that attention if they weren't grooming her for 2028.

Honestly, I would have thought they would have installed her as the Dem nominee in 2024 while she was still conventionally "hot." But it was Kamala's turn, I guess, and they didn't want to sabotage her chances if, like in 2016, Kamala imploded.
