Calling out fans of two criminal seditous  RINOs who needed a dim POTUS pardon?

If that is ad hominem in nature, then we have lost full philosphical functionality here. There is no way, no reason, anything positive should be said about those two, except for the positivity that might be gained getting them imprisoned.

What does mocking his hobbies have to do with the debate exactly?

Hope you realize that you are arguing with a guy who dresses up in Star Trek Captain garb, and his biggest avowed political heros are Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger.

That's where I get FIN news punditry....    :silly:

Mock the Starfleet uniform all you want. At least I don’t idolize Confederate traitors who lost a war they started, or a fake 'businessman' who bankrupted casinos. I stand with people who defend America. You stand with people who surrendered it — and then ran away in dresses!

Frankly, Sherman did the South a favor by stopping when he did. If he had finished the job properly, we wouldn’t still be dealing with people clinging to a legacy of failure and whining about a war their ancestors couldn’t win. Maybe next time, the march shouldn’t stop until the last Confederate flag is nothing but ashes.

We all have hobbies, mine's music politics, and genealogy.  Make all the fun you want,.

OTOH, it's damned tough to take seriously anyone dressing up and actlng like Captain Kirk.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

Ironic for someone who supports slavery and now apparently genocide.

Pretty sure that's not Reaganesque.
The Republic is lost.

What a freaking idiot.  Part of that genealogy aspect of the "hobby" has to do with honoring one's ancestors.  And where the F__ does it come across like idolizing them?  Versus a silly f'er like you who dresses up make believing you are a star ship captain.  I honored my ancestors who were real people.  You cos-play fiction.  You can't be for real.

That is everything anybody needs to know about you.  Still playing rocket man, at what....   age 50?  They don't make them any sillier or ridiculous  than you.

And to any casual listener trying to figure out the garbage this ass wipe is conveying....   He  basically not only endorsed Sherman' campaign, of rape, murder, and pillage of the south,  but  he wished further destruction by endorsing genocide of civilians, which is really no different than what we saw in World War 2.  Nice job, numb nuts ...  you've been outed with the true character that you have.

Seems  you missed advertising  the pic. That's because it was a one day Halloween event.

Vs., numbnuts who wears his starfleet badge like da prized possession.

I guess these farmers should just be happy to endure the pain that Donald Trump and his supporters insist they must go through.

I guess we’ll see in next year’s midterms if the farmers agree with Donald Trump and his MAGAs

It must be a MAGA thing. I don’t take pleasure in the suffering of my fellow man, especially American farmers who work hard to feed the world.  But that’s just me.

I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

Too bad your rebel ancestor wasn't shot during the civil war.

IMO you're wrong. Trump 100% believes he is helping Americans with these tariffs. And a certain percentage may benefit, truly.

If what happened during his first term is any guide, it’ll be the bailouts that Trump will brag about when it comes to “helping” farmers

https://www.the-independent.com/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-tariffs-farmer-billions-taxpayer-funds-b2734026.html

We’re risking crony capitalism that’ll make the 2008 bail outs look like small potatoes

Because if we bail out farmers that are harmed by the tariffs, what’s to stop every other industry that’s been harmed from asking for bailouts? How do you deny them? Are the farmers getting the bailouts because they voted for Trump in large numbers in 2024?

Again, conservatives used to know all of this until Donald Trump came along and told them to think otherwise

Tariffs and chaos are attempts to obtain leverage  ... until foreign nation start divesting themselves of US Government Debt.

Trump does not want to fight a fair fight.  He only wants to fight if he's certain that he'll win.

This is where his ignorance, dillusions, and cognitive distortions bite him in the ass by over-estimating American leverage and under-estimating foreign leverage.

Navarro will whisper in Trump's ear, 'We can squeeze our trading partners because we are the largest consumers of their products.'

Nobody is there to tell Trump that trade partners use their trade surplus money to finance the American Government's deficit spending and debt.

If they don't buy US Bonds, rates go up.  If they sell US Bonds, rates go up even more.  If they buy gold instead of US Debt, the dollar gets weaker.  So, we'll have higher inflation with higher interest rates.  This is counter-intuitive to most monetary models because they don't factor in geo-politics.

I was going to start putting some of my walking around money into Gold Coins, but the price of gold got too, high too fast.  Palladium coins are more volatile.  The most attractive option for me to preserve value is Platinum coins; they have been more price-stable.
