At our previous house, there was a robin that continually pecked the heck out of one of the basement windows. We assumed he (?) saw his reflection and perceived the other robin as a threat. The noise was driving us crazy, and we eventually covered the window so there would be no more reflection.
At this house, the red-bellied woodpeckers occasionally try to drill holes in the deck posts, but thankfully have ignored car mirrors or windows.
