A federal judge stopped the Trump administration on Monday from ending deportation protections for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans.

The individuals from said countries were reportedly granted entrance into the United States under the Biden presidency as part of a humanitarian parole program, per the Miami Herald.

    U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani ruled, after a hearing last week, that the paroled migrants can stay in the United States as they pursue immigration benefits. In effect, her ruling will prevent the Department of Homeland Security’s secretary, Kristi Noem, from revoking their parole status as part of an administration plan to end the humanitarian program on April 24.

    “While [Trump administration officials] are correct that the Secretary’s discretion in this area is broad, their conclusion that the Secretary’s actions are wholly shielded from judicial review is incorrect,” Talwani wrote in in a 41-page order filed in Boston federal court.

    Talwani said that while her role in reviewing the agency’s revocation order is “limited,” the judge said she has the authority to stay the secretary’s “termination” of parole for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans because “it revokes, without case-by-case review, previously granted parole and work authorizations for individuals currently in the United States.”

Judge Blocks Trump from Revoking Legal Status for 530,000 Immigrants Flown into U.S. Under Biden

A federal judge on Monday halted the Trump administration’s plan to revoke the legal status and work permits of more than 530,000 Cuban, Haitian, Nicaraguan, and Venezuelan nationals who were flown into the U.S. under a Biden-era parole program.
 
Last month, the Department of Homeland Security issued a notice about the change set to take effect April 24. The administration warned immigrants hailing from those four countries to self-deport by the deadline or else face imminent arrest at the hands of federal agents. Arrests of those who failed to apply for other immigration benefits, like a green card, would be prioritized in the move.

A new ruling, however, suspended the plan until further notice. U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani, an Obama appointee who sits on the bench in Boston, said the terminations of legal status for noncitizens could not immediately happen “without case-by-case review.”

These Judges should convene a Tribunal and Rule Trump impeached and convicted.  The new president will be appointed by the Tribunal.

Judge Drastically Lowers Bond for Nashville Man Accused of Raping Teen Girls at Gunpoint
Bond has been reduced for a man in Nashville, Tennessee, who was charged with raping two teenage girls at gunpoint in 2024, a move that brought heavy criticism.

The suspect, identified as Dejuan Moore, had his bond lowered from $810,000 to $304,000 in Judge Khadija Babb‘s courtroom, WZTV reported Tuesday.

Authorities charged him with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, three counts of especially aggravated kidnapping, two counts of aggravated rape, resisting arrest, evading arrest, and evading arrest by a motor vehicle, the outlet said.
