Elon Musk Accuses Chuck Schumer of Profiting from ‘Government Fraud’
Nick R. HamiltonApril 12, 2025 - 11:13 am

X boss Elon Musk has accused Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) of having ulterior motives for defending “fraud” in the federal government.

Musk was responding to a post from Schumer claiming that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is “sabotaging Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.”

However, DOGE is tasked with reducing waste, fraud, and abuse of taxpayer funds in the federal government.

“Chuck, I’m starting to think you’re getting a piece of the action with the government fraud,” Musk wrote on X.

“But no, that couldn’t possibly be the reason, could it?”

If Chuckie is fighting exposing fraud and isn't getting a sizable cut, then he's on the payroll of someone who is.  Either way, he's not supporting the American public. **nononono* But, he's a democrat, after all, and that means not supporting American citizens.

I don't think Musk would make the connection publicly, even though he is just saying what we've been thinking, unless he had the goods on Chuckie.

Musk is daring Schumer to file a defamation lawsuit. The absence of which will constitute an admission of guilt.

And the presence of which provides an opportunity for proof.

And the discovery phase of said lawsuit would be very illuminating.

Musk's claims in this regard are baseless.  Schumer's attack on DOGE for “sabotaging Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid," is just a standard Democrat talking points -- anything Republicans do that affects those programs, even if it arguably improves their effectiveness in delivering the services Congress mandated they deliver, is "sabotage", since calling it such scare-mongers for votes.  And members of either house of Congress have no need of getting a piece of the action in any fraud, since they exempted themselves from insider trading laws, and can make a bundle on the market on the basis of insider information they are privy to from advance knowledge of legislation or information gleaned in Congressional hearings.
And when they behead your own people in the wars which are to come, then you will know what this was all about.

Then I look forward to Schumer's response in a court filing.

Why would Schumer do that?  Getting attacked by Musk simply increases his reputation with the people who count for him - his voters.

How does someone who never held a job in the private sector, or created a business, have a net worth in excess of 75 MILLION DOLLARS?

Why vote for Republicans if they won't do what they said they would do.

Insider trading.  It’s perfectly legal for members of Congress.

If Chuckles does file a suit he will need to be deposed. I don't think he can stand up to the scrutiny that Musk must have.
