A community in Fredericksburg, Virginia, turned into a crime scene Tuesday evening after a mass shooting left three people dead and at least three others injured. Authorities confirmed that all four suspects are now in custody.

According to authorities, two of the suspects are 16-years-old, one a 17-year-old, and another is 18-year-old Jeremiah Upson. Two of the suspects are Spotsylvania County residents, and two are Caroline County residents. The names and mugshots of the minor suspects have not been released at this time.

The Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Department reported receiving multiple calls about gunfire around 5:30 pm. Responding officers discovered three victims dead at the scene, while three others were rushed to the hospital with gunshot wounds. Investigators are still working to determine the ages of the victims and the motive behind the attack.

Witnesses described a terrifying scene. One resident shared a video showing two individuals holding long guns, walking down the middle of the street moments before gunfire erupted. Authorities have charged four teenage suspects involved in a mass shooting in a Fredericksburg neighborhood that left three people dead and at least three others injured. ...

All of them need to be charged as adults , unfortunately Virginia no longer has the death penalty so the worst they could get is spending the rest of their lives in prison costing the taxpayers millions of dollars .

No info on the "victims" yet ? Except they were probable (at least some of them) illegal gun sellers or buyers.... So in the long run, probable not folks that the community will really miss.

Interesting how everyone tries to Newspeak definitions of different incidents.

"Mass shooting/murder" used to actually have a specific meaning, although the "English" is quite general.  It meant, person/few people deliberately killing random people, perhaps a targeted LOCATION, but not as much about which victim as how many - and likely, the killer(s) would die including by suicide.

This is clearly maybe too many killers, ganging up to locate specific victims they want dead - and they're all alive.

This is a targeted revenge thing of common thuggery, writ somewhat large.  Pretty much what the Baltimore "mass shooting" was the other year, but I think Big Brother wants to conflate typical urban thuggery with uncommon "white" mass murderers.

It's true - often, the "victims" of common urban thuggery are targeted specifically cuz they all be bad and ripping each udda off.

Schools will open two hours later tomorrow... not a whole day off like most other schools , but two hours later. That probable means some of the victim(s) were school age though nothing has been mentioned specifically about the victims.

Makes me wonder, if I was a illegal gun seller, how would I set up a sale....

I would probable have the buyer drop off the money is a location (given the drop location at last second) and then force the buyer leave the area... then someone pick up the money and take it off to count.... then phone the locations of the goods to the buyer. Making sure to film the pickup of the guns to prove you did deliver the goods to later potential buyers... I would count of word of mouth that I kept my end of the bargain and thus be known on the streets as a safe (and honest) seller. I would not have face to face sales.
