Dr. Eithan Haim blew the whistle on the hospital for continuing to perform “transgender” procedures on minors. Texas Children’s Hospital whistleblower Dr. Eithan Haim testified before a congressional subcommittee that he knew from the beginning of the Biden administration’s investigation that it was a “charade.”
As a surgical resident, Dr. Haim witnessed the troubling practices of the hospital’s “transgender” procedures for minors. “The reason I spoke out is because I understand and I’ve seen the effects of what these blockers do, what these hormones do, and what these surgeries do,” he told the subcommittee. “They are destroying the lives of these children.”
In May 2023, Haim revealed that Texas Children’s Hospital had continued to administer cross-sex hormones and puberty blockers to minors, despite the hospital’s previous announcement in March 2022 that such treatments had been paused.
Haim was then indicted by the Biden administration’s Department of Justice for alleged violations of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Haim told the U.S. House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on the Constitution and Limited Government that he quickly realized it was a “political witch hunt” when the U.S. attorney in charge of his case admitted she didn’t review the evidence before sending agents to his home.
