China Population Decline EXTREME

A friend told me today, the population of China is not 1.4 billion, it is down to 300-400 million.  My initial reaction was, nonsense!  But when I got out on Youtube, and searched for videos on China, sure enough, there is one video after another indicating that China is now less 400, 500 or more million people from the true population of 800 million +/-. 

I copied the URLs of just a couple videos, and the indications are scary.

So, if they lost 500 million people since the start of COVID, how did they die?  The virus?  We had about 1% die of those that contracted COVID, so I doubt it was the virus.  Perhaps the vaccine they used in China?  What vaccine did they use there?  I need to research it. 

My friend indicated that another virus circulated China that was highly virulent after COVID, but if it circulated there, it would have spread throughout the world.  Yet, there is no new virus killing large numbers of folks in the world.

If the information is as bad as indicated in terms of worst numbers, then China will be facing a huge collapse in the not too distant future.  That collapse will also have an impact on the rest of the world.

The only other possibility is the missing people are not missing, just moved to the hundreds of thousands of trailer-like homes that China made during the 1st covid outbreak and are being held as prisoners.

If the missing hundreds of millions did die, where were the overworked crematoriums, the mourning families, the death notices ( if China has them ), etc.

I can't imagine this would facilitate this big a drop, but didn't the Chicoms have a one child policy in place 3 or 4 decades ago.

I'm seeing numerous variations of this story online. Some of the stories cite abandoned previously occupied villages, neighborhoods, and small cities. One urban explorer video I watched showed several homes abandoned with personal belongings still in them and sometimes with the remains of meals still on the table.

Well, not just that, but one which highly favored male children over females.
So much so, rumors are that females were selectively aborted. That would shade the gender mix.

I don't think it is a ruse.  The one video was Shanghai, which is one of the most populated cities in China.  They talk about how the streets were wall to wall people, and are mostly empty now.

And in one of the video, it showed fields that were once bountiful now left to go to weeds.

I believe the truth is most likely the Chinese lied about their population pre COVID, and again is lying about the impact of COVID, and the utterly poor methods of medical care, or lack thereof, and the impact on the population was huge loss.

My friend told me of China being afflicted with another pathogen when they were shut down and closed that was very deadly.

Who knows the truth, but if the population of China is in the 300-400 million range, they are no longer the endless horde threat they were once perceived to be.

Lest we forget, they built huge apartment blocks which were never populated. Whether it was done as a sort of WPA project, or those who were supposed to live there just didn't, or population numbers did not support the number of available units, who knows. I suppose it is also possible that they have a bit of corruption there, too, and someone kept their family well paid in construction projects (though corruption there may be dealt with a bit more harshly than here if the parties are in disfavor).

They give each participant an ear bud and the synchronization cues are given to everyone at the same time...negating the typical kind of asynchronization that would occur from giving sound cues in a large venue - the speed of sound not being fast enough to precisely synch a large enough crowd.

Well no doubt it's decreasing, just wondering how bad the decline is, or if it's really a fraction of what it claims. Would they lie about it? I don't know. I've never been there so I cannot say for myself.

Chinas overall net population appears to have been dropping by about a million or so in each of the last few years.  Orders of magnitude smaller than the claimed decreases.

I will say that I did not know about this until about a week or so ago. I will not rule out that this is propaganda coming from somebody who does not like China.

But I will say the videos of the suddenly abandoned villages and neighborhoods is very concerning. It would look like they were suddenly forced to leave.

Personally, I believe it has to do with the one child policy...and the fallout.  The decline may not be as large as reported but there is no way that policy didn't have an affect.

One child policy, yes, but consider that the preferences for a male child were so strong it may have affected the 'mix' to the point that there are 30-40 million more men than women. I realize their population is huge, but even that mismatch has to have some effect.
