The U.S. has made progress in military recruitment following prolonged struggles across key branches. The Army has surpassed 115% of its target for the current fiscal year, while the Navy and Air Force have also exceeded quotas. Experts are now stressing that recruitment quality is key to sustaining military readiness. Army recruitment reportedly nears a 15-year high under the Trump administration, although recruiting numbers began to increase prior to the 2024 election cycle.
