Wisconsin Supreme Court election results

Wisconsin's Supreme Court election — the most expensive judicial race ever recorded — is considered one of the biggest political races of 2025 in America.

Conservative Waukesha County Judge Brad Schimel squares off against liberal Dane County Judge Susan Crawford for a coveted seat on the state Supreme Court in the April 1 general election.

Florida Republicans face off against well-funded Democrats in US House special elections

OCALA, Fla. (AP) — Tuesday's special elections for two Florida congressional seats in heavily pro-Trump districts have become an unexpected source of concern for national Republicans as Democrats have poured millions in fundraising into the races.

Both seats opened when President Donald Trump chose their representatives for jobs in his second administration. Matt Gaetz was briefly nominated to be Trump's attorney general before withdrawing, while Mike Waltz became national security adviser.

Well we kept the 2 seats in Fla and won a voter ID referendum in Wisc which was unexpected...like I said..we will have to upset a few other seats in different states to keep the majority...that the Repubs don't deserve but Trump does for his agenda...

Almost identically, both FL Districts 1 and 6 GOP winners underperformed by 9% versus 2024. Not a good night.

I live in a county that went for Crawford. It seemed to me that Schimel had the edge early but in the last two weeks, it broke for the Progressive. Her ads were effective in showing her as a serious person while demonizing her opponent. They were also effective in connecting Schimel to the most recent bogeyman, Elon Musk.

All that said, there was no way I saw the magnitude of her win.

Republicans never, ever, ever learn: Republicans do not turn out for off-cycle elections. While we'll crawl across broken glass every four years ....in between, not so much.

The point is the WI election should mean anything, but what will come out of this is a nakedly partisan attempt to flip the House by doing a mid-decade redistricting, which should not be allowed. This would be what, the third or fourth change?

Unless someone takes it Federal, there is no chance of stopping it.

The GOP will have to look elsewhere to upset House races to make up for what Wisc is about to do and you know they will do it...the rats didn't poor record breaking dollars into Wisc for nothing.

@Lando Lincoln is correct...The Admin misjudged Elon's influence by sending him to Wisconsin..the Dems managed to turn Elon into the *bogeyman* and interloper in their state...something to think about in 2026.
