CNN Ratings Decline Sparks Major Shakeup

CNN takes over Georgia Tech’s McCamish Pavilion
 
CNN has undergone significant restructuring in its Washington D.C. newsroom following a decline in post-election ratings. Former Washington Post senior editor Philip Rucker has been appointed as the new head of D.C. operations, replacing Adam Levine. Levine's role has been reduced to overseeing the investigative team and a new "hub desk." Rucker has managed areas such as breaking news, enterprise reporting, White House activities, Capitol Hill coverage, Justice Department matters, and national security.
