Why the EPA is right to roll back Biden’s blackout regulations.

Last week, the Environmental Protection Agency announced it would roll back the Biden administration’s greenhouse gas emissions standards on power plants. [emphasis, links added]

That’s great news for consumers, who will suffer from widespread blackouts and billions of dollars in costs if the rules are not repealed.


The Biden administration’s rules, finalized in May 2024, would subject millions of people to rolling blackouts by effectively forcing reliable coal plants to retire and erecting impediments to building the new natural gas plants needed to replace them reliably.

Under Biden’s rules, coal and new natural gas plants would be forced to spend billions of dollars installing unproven carbon capture and sequestration technology to capture 90% of their emissions or shut down by 2039.

Massachusetts can thank New York (as can all of New England) for the lack of cheap natural gas to heat with and even generate electricity. After all, New York won't allow a pipeline, not just outlawing fracing so their own in state resources can be used, but preventing Gas from elsewhere being transported across the State.

So they run a debt of 180 billion dollars, while States that use their resources run with a surplus. (Oil and Gas fund half our State budget in ND, by comparison).

The New England States, the Interstate Commerce Commission, and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commision could sue New York State in the US Supreme Court.

Mass won't because they're all in on the Big Climate Change fraud.  It will take action by other states or the Federal Government to change things.
