The last time I visited Amsterdam was in June 2023.
I ordered an Uber to take me from my hotel to Dam Square. The driver was a Dutch-born man of Turkish origin.
We started talking about the immigration crisis in Europe. And with complete confidence, he looked at me and said: “By Allah, we will take over Europe.”
I asked him, “But you were born here. You’re Dutch. How can you talk like this?”
He replied without hesitation: “What unites us is Islam. The world must submit to Islam. We don’t see borders.”
I tried to talk to him rationally about the ideology of Islam, its historical violence, its authoritarianism, its rejection of pluralism. And I shared with him that I was a former Muslim.
He got visibly angry. And God knows I’m not exaggerating, he threatened me. He told me, flat-out, that I deserve to die and he would do it himself.
This wasn’t in Syria, Iraq, or Iran. This was in Amsterdam. A liberal, Western European city. Supposedly free. Supposedly safe.
This is the consequence of importing ideology without accountability, Islam wrapped in Western citizenship.
They may hold European passports, but their allegiance isn’t to Europe, it’s to a global Islamic identity that rejects your freedoms, your values, and your existence if you dare question it.
