It's not widely known, but over HALF of Columba University's enrollment is now foreign students. Some of them are people like Mahmoud Khalil, who spent all his time agitating in support of Hamas terrorists.

But if you dig deeper, the true story is even more appalling: Columbia is using the prestige of its elite undergraduate school to bring in thousands of mediocre foreigners who want a Columbia degree in computer science, engineering, or a similar field. Columbia admits them because they pay full-freight tuition, boosting their bottom line while glutting the American job market and lowering wages for STEM workers.

Why are we letting one of America's premier universities become overwhelmingly foreign in order to fund bloated administrator paychecks?

Don't take it from me, the internet is full of Columbia grads complaining about what's happened to their school:

It depends what you regard as foreign, but 15-25% of the elite school students are now asian, 10-15% hispanic, 5-7% multi, and 17% international.  Lots of first gen immigrants.  International trends much higher in grad school.  There is a strong argument against legacy admissions, but you better understand these institutions are going to be different in many respects.

Foreign students pay the full price.  It's about money.  Rich foreigners get to displace poor, working-class, and middle-class Americans ... worsening America's class divide.

Ivy League Universities sell-out Americans for mo' money, mo' money, mo' money.

Columbia has been one of the "cores" of American leftism/communism since the 1920's when Whittaker Chambers was there.

There's no fixing the place.
It is what it is, and will never change.

The only solution for Columbia is to force its closure and convert the campus into housing for the homeless. The property will much better serve the people of New York by doing so.

NEW REVENUE SOURCE: Federal government should tax the tuition for all foreign students.  Regardless what university or college in America.  We are harming our own nation educating many of our enemies.

So, a student from China pays Harvard $75,000 to attend, they are subject to a $10,000 federal government fee to attend per year.

We have millions of foreigners in our universities.

2,000,000 foreign students    x   $10,000 federal fee    =     $20 billion in revenue.

And the majority of students in the USA at the graduate school level are foreigners.  If a foreigner attends our graduate schools, the federal fee is escalated to $20,000 per year.

We are hurting our own infrastructure by allowing foreigners to occupy the majority of grad positions in the USA.
