Russia Just Spit in Trump's Face, and It's Time They Reap the Whirlwind

Russia escalated attacks on civilian areas on Friday night, bombing residential neighborhoods with cluster munitions and using ballistic missiles to hit various parts of Ukraine's industrial base. Unlike past attacks, though, these are far more consequential because of what President Donald Trump threatened less than 24 hours prior.

The Trump administration's Ambassador to Ukraine responded by noting that a follow-up strike was targeted at first responders in the Ukrainian city of Dobropillia. That was caught on video in a pretty harrowing scene.

Russia always likes to launch its attacks on Ukrainian cities just before sunset ... that way, the first-responders are forced to work in the dark, making their job more difficult

And now, Russia is firing a delayed second round at cities, to deliberately target the first responders & rescuers

This is why we call Putin a monster ... this is why he's wanted for war crimes

Why aren't all his new pals in Europe rushing in to save Ukraine? Why is the burden on Trump?

They have always counted on the good ole USA to rescue them. Trump hasn't quite opened their eyes enough.

Trump needs to stop threatening Russia and go ahead and apply the sanctions and whatever else he was planning to do to get them to belly up to the table to negotiate.

Like anything that has to do with Europe, it is always complicated.
