President Donald Trump issued a stern warning to Hamas in a Truth Social post Wednesday, calling for the terrorist group to release all hostages immediately.

The post came after Trump met with several former Hamas hostages who traveled to Washington, D.C., this week. The group included Eli Sharabi, Doron Steinbrecher, Keith Siegel, Aviva Siegel, Naama Levy, Omer Shem Tov, Iair Horn and Noa Argamani, according to the Hostages and Missing Families Forum.

"‘Shalom Hamas’ means Hello and Goodbye - You can choose," the president's post began. "Release all of the Hostages now, not later, and immediately return all of the dead bodies of the people you murdered, or it is OVER for you.

"Only sick and twisted people keep bodies, and you are sick and twisted!"

Trump added that he is "sending Israel everything it needs to finish the job," and that "not a single Hamas member will be safe if you don’t do as I say.

"I have just met with your former Hostages whose lives you have destroyed," Trump added. "This is your last warning! For the leadership, now is the time to leave Gaza, while you still have a chance."

"Also, to the People of Gaza: A beautiful Future awaits, but not if you hold Hostages. If you do, you are DEAD! Make a SMART decision. RELEASE THE HOSTAGES NOW, OR THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY LATER!"

Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., an unflinching supporter of Israel, offered his approval of Trump's post.

"Free all the hostages or start killing Hamas members again. I fully agree with @POTUS," Fetterman posted on X.

I have to believe they have some sense of where the hostages are being held.  Special teams go in and get them, extract them, and then I would level every building in every town, city where they are being held.

I still say, kill them all, and then they will no longer be a problem.  And leave the rubble for decades if not 100 years as a reminder what becomes of a people that are genocidal maniacs!

He might target the Hamas leadership 'hiding' out in Qatar...similarly as President Reagan did to Gaddafi when he sent a missile down his chimney.

Doubt that he would bomb Gaza wholesale because of the collateral damage to civilians.  And doubt very much he would go house to house as President GWB did in Mosel, Iraq.  Having American Special Forces dying or being captured isn't his style.

Good question.  I don't know what Israel has planned so I don't know quite what to expect, but Trump has stated that there will be hell to pay, so it's not going to be pretty.

A few theories; I believe that the hostages remaining are American, so I don't see them going full throttle until they get the hostages back and Hamas know this.  Hostages are their only bargaining chip but I do fear for the remaining hostages that they claim are alive may be dead or in so poor shape that they're just buying time to reorganize and plan.

Perhaps the U.S. knows where the hostages are and will try to extract them.  OR Trump could start to strategically bomb the surrounding area until they are released??

Neither the U.S. or Israel cannot attack if hostages aren't released after Trump stated there will be hell to pay or  Hamas will think that Trump's words are meaningless.

My other concern is that groups of Hamas and affiliates are in this country and we'll see attacks on U.S. soil.

Hamas spokesman Abdel-Latif al-Qanoua said the "best path to free the remaining Israeli hostages" is through negotiations on a second phase of the ceasefire agreement.

The first phase of the ceasefire, which lasted 42 days, ended on Saturday. A second phase was supposed to begin in early February, though only limited preparatory talks have been held so far.

I could be wrong about this, but I don't think we'll be involved --at all-- in the direct delivery of hell, other than selling more arms and munitions to Israel.  I think Trump's saying that he'll take Bibi off his leash, look the other way and let the chips fall where they may.
