Special guests Here’s who was sitting inside President Trump’s box during his speech to Congress

President Trump’s box was filled with family members, administration officials and special guests – invited by first lady Melania Trump – for his Tuesday speech to a joint session of Congress.

The ‘Democratic’ or ‘Democrat’ Party?

@Bigun  tipping hat!!

If lasts night's performance and trend continues, they might as well rename themselves the Whigs.

We watched the entire speech last night.  The DEMS were deplorable and I was glad to see the Sargent in Arms remove the disruptive one in the beginning of his speech.

All in all it was a good speech, but I felt not his best.  He spent time on tariffs, and told people to give him some time -- but I don't think he explained well enough to the American people what we may experience as a result and how in the long run America will profit.

A huge concern of mine  (and we were watching it on FOX) is his physical composure. His age is beginning to show.  He started leaning and relying on the podium quite heavily; especially on the right side (left if you consider camera angle) and there were a few times when he forgot a word or too.  Melania at times, especially in the beginning of the speech looked very alarmed.

The DEMS have signaled that they aren't about to cooperate or help his agenda regardless if it is for the better of this country.

I never know whether to equate Rep. Al Green to a California raisin or the GEICO caveman. Either way ...

In 2017, when other members of Congress were facing allegations he reached out to her again and paid her to write an another bizarre joint statement reiterating that it was consensual to get ahead of his case resurfacing.

Ok,  they all dressed in pink; a statement, no problem.  However, their holding of their little signs, failing to applaud or stand for any of the victims that Trump addressed nor applauding or standing for a child who has/had brain cancer and someone who was accepted by West Point, is very petty.  They showed no interest in this country whatsoever other than trying to derail what positivity Trump was conveying and his future agenda.

I find it rather daunting that they continue to stand for Biden's policies, destruction, outlandish spending and continued lies of his mental fitness.

Two people that Trump seemed to admonish last night during his speech; Bondi and Rubio.  He wish Bondi good luck several times, and wished Rubio good luck while mentioning the Panama Canal.  I am not sure if he wished Patel good luck, but when Patel stood up he didn't look very happy.

Mark my word, with the way things are going, he needs to get rid of Bondi. Rubio still has a chance to save his hide after the Zelenskyy fall out.  Though Zelenskyy went back on his word -- Rubio should have had him sign documents while he met with Z in Ukraine instead of Z dragging Trump, Vance and him through the press circus at the WH.

Bondi was sworn in Feb 18 and two weeks later you want her removed?

Good grief, do you realize what you are saying?

And Rubio is doing better as SOS than any SOS in my lifetime than George Schultz.

He is perfect for the job IMO

I'm judging by what has transpired so far and Trump wishing them good luck last night (especially Bondi) and the way that he said it to her several times led me to believe he no longer has confidence in her, and Rubio is treading water.

Trump wished Rubio good luck on the Panama Canal not me -- though Trump made light of the situation, I don't think he takes the situation lightly.

Bondi blew it.  IF our AG can't verify information and act accordingly, then what good is she??  She's the head of our DOJ.  She needs to be on top of her game.  What she did next IMHO was make it sound like it was Patel's fault, when he was just sworn in the day before.

She was FL's AG and she served FL very well. I anticipated that she would have the skillset needed for the US AG, I now have my doubts.

Trump cannot afford to have his AG continue to stumble.  She has to be able to produce and start prosecuting people; otherwise there will be NO draining of the swamp.

Trump did mention that he would 'balance the budget'. He didn't dwell on the subject, but he did state it.

IF so it will be the first time this country has seen a balanced budget in a very long time.

How did Rubio stumble on the Panama Canal?

It has not been in American hands for almost 50 years and now is within 5 weeks of him being sworn in.

Agree. It's too early to make such drastic changes.

I didn't say that Rubio stumbled on the Panama Canal but he did stumble a bit on Zelenskyy signing documents -- Trump wished him luck on the Panama Canal.

I'm not so concerned about Rubio as I am about Pam.  She fumbled and stumbled.  Making an announcement before you have the documents and the proof reflects poorly on her competence and then it seemed to me she pointed the finger at Patel who was sworn in the day before.  IF she is going to point fingers instead of taking responsibility she's never going to work out. Yes, she was lied to by the FBI (pre-Patel) but if she had done her homework she should have known that they couldn't be trusted and believing after decades of investigations that there were only a couple hundred pages of documents; well, I'd think she'd be a little bit wiser and have a whole lot better judgement and done a wee bit more research.

She trusted in the same  swamp that she's supposed to be cleaning up.

Pleaaaase give Bondi a break.  She is still in the process of getting her 94 district attorneys in place and taking care of the outlaw subordinates in all those offices as well as DC.  That should be her priority as she cannot do much across the country until she has her people installed to begin criminal investigations and prosecutions.

This is far more important than attempting to release Epstein files which have likely been seriously compromised by a corrupt FBI so would be worthless anyway

Bondi has run an organization before, but Rubio is untested.

Senators are hired to offer opinions, opinions that could be wrong most of the time BTW, like the stumble out of the gate on the Gang of 8.  They do not run organizations, where one cannot be wrong much.

This is Rubio given an opportunity to see if he can excel as an Executive instead of just talking, so he is the one we need to wait and see.

What I see so far seems good to me
