It's extremely frustrating for me personally.

At least half my friends and acquaintances and half of my family don't care for the GOP.

I write it off to the fact they are too busy to be political junkies like we are here on the forum...to busy working...raising children, paying bills, making a living and building businesses and careers.

They can't absorb that a multi-billionaire like President Trump...Elon Musk would devote their precious time to work for 'free' in order to bring about positive change in our government...to weed out corruption...struggling against a wave of antagonistic media who cherry pick headlines and slant the narrative to make MAGA an 'Enemy of the State'.

To make the battle even more infuriating, our FBI and CIA and other Intelligence agencies have been militarized to favor the Left and target the Conservative Right, who just want to have our lives return to the USA of the post WWII 50's.

To go back to the days when you could leave your glove and bike on the front lawn and not worry about it being missing in the morning.

The forum used to be a respite where faceless people with no names could feel like a tight knit group of like-minded individuals discuss what's wrong with society and offer opinions on how to make things "Right".

WTF is wrong with some people that they aren't willing to dig deep into an issue and only rely on what the talking head on television says...what the Hollywood celebrity thinks...or what some moronic politician spouts in the name of free speech?

I have developed my POV from Talk Radio (Rush Limbaugh) and that genre going forward, together with political forums such as FreeRepublic and The Briefing Room.

I'm convinced that if people holding opposite views would simply tune in for 30 days, the old adage of disciplining oneself for that period will change them forever.

Sorry for the rant.  NOT!

Former NCAA athlete Riley Gaines, Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht, and a state-level DOGE official are just some of the faces Americans will get a glimpse of inside the U.S. Capitol on Tuesday night.

Members of Congress spoke with Fox News Digital about their guests for President Donald Trump's first address to a joint session of Congress for his second term.

Rep. Marianette Miller-Meeks, R-Iowa, said she invited Gaines after they both attended a White House event where Trump signed an executive order aimed at limiting transgender athletes' participation in school sports. Girls' sports was a top issue for Miller-Meeks during her close House race in 2024.

Meanwhile, a spokesman for Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., told Fox News Digital he would be bringing Ross Ulbricht, founder of the darkweb platform Silk Road.

In another nod to the Trump administration's work so far, Rep. Ashley Hinson, R-Iowa, is attending the speech with the chair of her home state's own DOGE task force.
