@Timber Rattler has a litany of names he's been called by the pro-Russians and I really don't want to see that crap again.
Can we disagree about Russia and agree to lay off the personal insults? I will.
Perhaps labeling people as pro-Russian is what starts the mud slinging. I don't consider myself in the least pro-Russian, but the Russian people have their share of problems living under Putin and I feel for them. So -- does that make me pro-Russian? I think that's an absurd assumption and accusation.
I don't care for the leadership of Russia nor Ukraine and I don't think neither can be trusted, but I do care about what happens to both the Russian and Ukranian people. Just because their leaders are bad doesn't make all of them bad. That would be like people judging all Americans by Biden or Obama, etc.
My heritage is that of Croatian and Slovak -- I am only the 2nd generation here on my mom's side and 3rd generation on my Dad's side. The countries of Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia has been so war torn and territory boundaries redrawn so many times by Russians and others that it is impossible to trace my family tree. But should I blame the Russian people??? Should I blame the German people???
Peace Megan C.
