(1)  So the whole NATO debacle is a money pit and no one knows who, what, when, or where anything is generated or spent?
(2). These numbers, though off, might be in the ball park?
(3)  I  don't have the time or inclination to spend 30 minutes researching just exactly what that number is.  So, in your essence of calling me a liar, why don't you provide that service to us.  I am interested , since there is growing clamor to leave NATO.

That indicates that we spend about 64% of all the military expenditures compared to all the other NATO members combined. That 64% though isn't all NATO spending. We have a lot more military spending well beyond NATO. The Pacific, southern hemisphere and Asia for example are all outside NATO.

What will most likely lead to a nuclear exchange is putting NATO troops in Ukraine. The Europeans are going down that road right now due to a lack of leadership. You can't lead something that you are publicly saying needs to be dismantled.

Yes, the truth matters....  I too have seen numbers to be between 60-70%, and that doesn't include all the funds around our huge military presence in Europe.  So my question is...  I think counting troops, bases, etc. constitutes probably at least 70% of NATO financial commitment.....  is this financial obligation wise considering our "good European allies" who have continually stabbed us in the back since the inception of the Marshall Plan in the late '40's?   On a side bar.....   We are $37T in debt.  The EU is far superior on almost every metric.  So, why should be perpetually subsidize this?

British PM Keir Starmer Says He Will Organize EU Ceasefire Security Force with France +2, and Count on U.S. Military Backstop From Trump

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is holding a Ukraine summit in London today with EU leaders, following two phone calls with President Trump.

According to the outline Starmer proposed on BBC News, following the disastrous Zelenskyy meeting in the White House, the British PM called President Trump and also Emmanuel Macron.  According to his statements, Starmer told Trump he would work with Macron +2 unidentified countries (a “coalition of the willing”), to organize an EU security force for a Ukraine ceasefire; then the group will require Trump to provide a U.S. troop “backstop” as an insurance policy.

Starmer completely ignores the NATO provocations against Russia that preceded the military operation by Vladimir Putin, instead blaming only the aggression of Putin for the expansion of NATO in Europe.

Good.  The European nations are coming together as they should.  The U.S. has done plenty and Z snubbed us.  Hopefully they will provide Ukraine with lasting peace, sovereignty and security.

IIRC the UK had talked with Trump prior to Z's visit.  I'm not so sure what will happen as far as Trump and the U.S.

And as much as it would have been nice to have the deal, now Europe is going to get it, and they'll have something to commit to, to keep Ukraine out of Russian hands.

Which means we've washed our hands of Z, and forced Europe to take care of their own defense. Trump played him like a fiddle.
