Quantus Insights, ranked the most accurate pollster of the 2024 cycle, surveyed 1,000 registered voters in late February to conclude that the Republican’s well of support isn’t drying up.From DOGE to deportations, Trump’s overall job performance is approved of by 51% while 45% disapprove. Reducing illegal immigration, which was central to President Trump’s promises in the 2024 campaign, continues to bolster the highest marks: 58% approve of efforts by White House border czar Tom Homan, U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, and U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement to arrest and deport illegal immigrants tied to violent gangs or convicted of crimes.The issue has drawn bipartisan support, as seen in last month’s passage of the Laken Riley Act, which lowered the threshold for criminal charges before an illegal immigrant could be detained and deported. In the U.S. House, 46 Democrats voted for the new law while 12 did so in the U.S. Senate.On the economy, President Trump remains on the right side of most voters, 49% of whom say he is steering the country toward a better financial future.
