Nothing really 'new' or unique about Liberals doing this kind of stunt. This sort of thing happens almost daily across the country. Liberals see it as a way to get praise and fame very quickly.
Also, in their 'closed world', in the world of the Liberal echo chambers, this kind of behavior is viewed as 'heroic'. This is what Milley thought when he published the fact that he colluded with the Chinese Communist Party to thwart Trump. Even though what he did is the textbook definition of treason, in his mind, in his distorted Liberal worldview, he believed that he would be hailed and cheered as a 'Hero of America'. The same could be said of Maddow, who trashed her own network employer as racist.
These are the hills Liberals are willing to die on. In the Liberal Universe, 'anything', literally anything, that is anti-Trump or anti-Republican is perceived as virtuous by the 'oh so tolerant' and 'oh so enlightened' Leftists. Even if what they promote is completely illegal and murderously violent.
