U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi delivered a blistering assessment of the federal government’s rampant fraud, waste, and abuse during a recent interview, vowing to overhaul the Department of Justice (DOJ) and crack down on sanctuary cities that defy federal immigration laws.

Bondi, who took the reins of the DOJ under President Donald Trump’s administration, revealed that the scale of corruption and mismanagement within the government is far worse than she had anticipated—but assured Americans that the administration is committed to fixing it.
 
“I always thought the worst part was within the FBI, but it’s throughout the Justice Department, throughout the administration,” Bondi said Friday. “Look at what Elon Musk has been uncovering with all the different departments—USAID, Treasury, everything. The fraud, the waste, the abuse—it’s everywhere.”

The head of the FBI was just confirmed and I am hopeful that we'll soon start to see some prosecutions.  If not than Trump and DOGE has some 'splainin' to do.

Back in the day, I was given jobs that were disaster situations like she inherited . In those situations, you tally first, prioritize, and then attack.  That process takes longer than you think.

Exactly.  It takes time to gain the intelligence one needs to prosecute.  It will begin with known perps, who then you sweat out details of their communications with others and higher ups who 'ordered' the criminal behavior.

There will be money involved and tracing that will be one key.

Like Al Capone, the best way to prosecute might be deliberate avoidance of paying taxes once the money is found to have reached the guilty party.

I also believe the latter process will be effective in prosecuting the rent-a-mobs like Antifa that were paid to protest and never declared the income.

Bottomline is follow the money, which needs investigation.  One does not wish to pursue prematurely.
