The discovery came after President Donald Trump signed an executive order to release the JFK files

The FBI has uncovered thousands of records connected to the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy as a result of President Donald Trump’s executive order to release the files.

Axios first reported that the FBI released 2,400 records tied to the Nov. 22, 1963, assassination of Kennedy, which were not provided to the board that reviewed and disclosed the files.

When the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) submitted its plan to release the JFK files, it reportedly disclosed the existence of the records.

Fox News has confirmed with a person familiar with the records that the files were uncovered during the review.

The FBI did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment on the matter.

Last month, Trump signed an executive order to declassify files on the assassinations of Kennedy, his brother Robert F. Kennedy and civil rights icon Martin Luther King, Jr.

"Everything will be revealed," Trump told reporters as he signed the order in the Oval Office.

Check all that paperwork for proportional fonts...

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Ha, good point. This could be big, though. Will they let us know if George Bush the elder is mentioned?

He might be, considering his 'spooky' past.

... Gerald Posner, author of “Case Closed,” which concludes that Oswald acted alone, said one possibility is that the newly discovered files are repeats of documents that are already in the National Archives’ collection.

“If they are really new assassination documents, then it raises a whole bunch of questions about how they were missed for all of these years,” Posner said.

He said the “wow” would be if they are related to Oswald or the investigation.

The documents released over the past several years from the collection have offered details on the way intelligence services operated at the time, and include CIA cables and memos discussing visits by Oswald to the Soviet and Cuban embassies during a trip to Mexico City just weeks before the assassination. The former Marine had previously defected to the Soviet Union before returning home to Texas.  ...

‘Two Shooters’: GOP Rep. Drops Bombshell Claim On JFK Assassination After Reviewing Documents

By Chris Powell

A stunning new claim has emerged in the ongoing investigation into the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, as Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) announced she believes there were “two gunmen” involved in the killing.

This comes amid a push for government transparency, with House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) appointing Luna to lead a newly formed task force dedicated to declassifying federal secrets.

The “Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets” will focus on long-sought-after files, including those related to the assassinations of President Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., as well as documents concerning Jeffrey Epstein, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs), COVID-19 origins, and the 9/11 attacks.

Luna made her assertion about the Kennedy assassination shortly after the FBI conveniently “discovered” 2,400 additional JFK-related files that had never been disclosed to the American public.

“Our first investigation will be announced, but it’s going to be covering on a thorough investigation into the John F. Kennedy assassination,” Luna told reporters. “I can tell you, based on what I’ve been seeing so far, the initial hearing that was actually held here in Congress was actually faulty in the single bullet theory.”

“I believe that there were two shooters, and we should be finding more information as we are able to gain access into the SCIF, hopefully, before the files are actually released to the public,” Luna said.

  • Well EXCUSE me!
I bet Hoover knew all about it. You can bet he had dirt on many many politicians too, that’s how he stayed Feeb director all the way up to his death in 1972. Forty-eight years all with bipartisan agreement, no way that happens without a little private coercion  **nononono* **nononono* **nononono*

:pondering: I wonder how long it will take to go through all these newly discovered files before they can be released, long enough for people to forget about them?
