VATICAN CITY -- The Vatican's charity voiced outrage Monday at what it called the “reckless” and “unhuman” U.S. plans to gut USAID, with Pope Francis’ point-man on development aid insisting that the Trump administration remember Christian principles about caring for others as it begins governing.

Cardinal Michael Czerny, a Czech-born Canadian Jesuit, is one of the cardinals most closely associated with Francis’ pontificate and heads the Vatican office responsible for migrants, the environment, the church’s Caritas Internationalis charity and development.

Caritas on Monday warned that millions of people will die as a result of the “ruthless” U.S. decision to “recklessly” stop USAID funding, and hundreds of millions more will be condemned to “dehumanizing poverty.”

Which is it?  The Vatican is worried about immigrants, or the Vatican is worried about the money it will have to cough up to continue the scam. :pondering:

Pope told to 'stick to Church' after Trump migrant critique

The Argentine pontiff accused US President Donald Trump of 'damaging the dignity' of migrants through his stringent deportation policy.
 
Pope Francis described Donald Trump's migrant deportations as a "major crisis" Tuesday, prompting a rebuke from the US president's border czar, who told the pontiff to "stick to the Catholic Church."

In a letter to US bishops, Francis, 88, said deporting people who had fled their own countries in distress "damages the dignity" of the migrants and could leave many vulnerable and defenceless.

"I exhort all the faithful of the Catholic Church, and all men and women of goodwill, not to give in to narratives that discriminate against and cause unnecessary suffering to our migrant and refugee brothers and sisters," he wrote.

The letter, published by the Vatican, sparked a swift retort from the Trump White House.

Well I think pope socialista faggato knows a lot about butting :whistle: He’s so worried about this because it cuts money going into the church. He doesn’t care about the individuals or their souls, if he really cared about Catholics, Christians and their souls he would constantly talking about all the Christians slaughtered in Africa by moslems, but there is no money to be made from them so…..crickets.
