I will no longer have to purchase Ivomec at feed supply stores.

Our vet has our dog on Ivermectin.  I've never had to take it and obviously the dosage would be much different.  Yes.... it would be nice for it to be available OTC.

Dosage is not much different as it's based on the subject's weight.

Dosage is not much different as it's based on the subject's weight.
The horse paste (my math) and human dosage (Mayo Clinic) is 0.2 mg/kg of body weight.
Doing the math:
Divide your body weight in pounds by 2.2, to get it in kilograms, and then multiply by 0.2 to get the proper number of milligrams in a dose for you.

I followed FLCCC - FRONT LINE COVID-19 CRITICAL CARE ALLIANCE. The FLCCC Alliance is now the Independent Medical Alliance

First Line Therapies

Ivermectin: 0.4 to 0.6 mg/kg – one dose daily for at least 5 days or until symptoms resolve.

It used to be: 0.2 to 0.4 mg/kg   That's the dosage I used.

I used 0.2, and only once every other day (total 2 doses). My diet is high in red meat, so there should have been a lot of zinc in my system to begin with, and I took supplements on top of that.
