President Trump fired Coast Guard commandant, Admiral Linda L. Fagan, almost immediately after he took office on January 20 - leaving her to discover the news while waiting to take a photo with Trump at the Commander in Chief ball that night.

Still, Fagan continued to live at her government-funded home on Joint Base Anacostia Bolling until she was abruptly evicted on Tuesday.

So what the regulation standard for officers' vacating their quarters after dismissal.  I know that it's more than two weeks  for PCSs and PPMs since finding a new house and moving all your stuff into it takes longer than that, even for a 4-star admiral.
