The great conservative comeback
By Ashley Losoya

“I don’t really care, Margaret.”

It was a moment on “Face The Nation” that Vice President JD Vance probably didn’t think much about, but it instantly became iconic on the Right -- perfectly capturing how we’ve been feeling since the undeniable red wave crashed down on America.

For years, we were the so-called “silent majority,” forced to keep our opinions locked away with our MAGA hats.

But the tide has turned; being conservative is cool now. And in the words of our Vice President, we “don’t really care” who thinks otherwise.

Maybe it was the relentless political warfare against President Trump that backfired spectacularly. Perhaps it was the assassination attempt -- waking up even the most disengaged Americans to the level of political violence tolerated by Democrats. Some would argue it was those candid Joe Rogan interviews that showcased candidates who can string a sentence together, rather than descending into an incoherent word salad.

Not yet. Talk to me in 4 years. So far it doesn’t look good.

The Empire will strike back. Hopefully they are so destroyed by the exposure to daylight they don't get far. They'll be stuck trying to defend the indefensible while all are watching.

Conservative, my ass!  This is all Trump.  DC Republicans do not have the balls to implement a conservative agenda.

DC Republicans pander to conservatives for votes and donations, but they never really intend to go through with it.

Trump, and only Trump, is willing this to happen.

DC Republicans will joyfully bask in Trump's collective glow, but they would never have done any of these things on their own.

Trump has been the only GOP Presdiential candidate of the last 30 years who has not played his base for chumps.

RE RINO in reply 3:

Migosh, you have changed your tune in the past few weeks.

I have NEVER changed mine.

Mr. Trump was the ONLY "Republican" candidate that could have done this.
The ONLY one.
No one else.
NOBODY.

(why I put "Republican" in quotes above: Mr. Trump ran -- and WON -- NOT "as a Republican" per se, but as a 3rd-party "MAGA/Republican". He jumped onto the Republican horse, stole the reins, and galloped to victory. If the Republican party is to survive, it had ought to be following his lead for some time to come...)
