The Brits have bought into this nonsense so that even their right-leaning daily newspaper spouts it.
Besides getting rid of the nonsensical "green" programs the Democrats foisted on the US, Trump needs to commission a "red team" report on climate by the most scientifically preeminent skeptics of the alarmist "consensus". It should highlight that the temperature rises attributable to greenhouse gasses are logarithmic in the concentration of the gas (if doubling the concentration produces an 0.5 degree rise, doubling again, also produces an 0.5 degree rise), the fact that models based on cloud formation give a better fit to observed data since at least 1980 than models based on greenhouse gas warming, criticize the use of urban and suburban weather stations in the alarmist models (allowing the alarmists to misattribute increases in the urban heat island effect due to increased development to greenhouse gasses), and probably about twenty other things that are problems with the alarmist models or contradict their basis or their conclusions.
Short of a new ice age starting, only a thoroughgoing scientific critique of the alarmists has any hope of getting rid of the hysteria.
