Donald Trump gives CNN 'sleazebag' Jim Acosta a brutal parting message

President Donald Trump on Tuesday celebrated the news that former White House correspondent Jim Acosta had decided to leave CNN.

The controversial correspondent who frequently tangled with Trump, was promoted to an anchor slot after Trump left office, but announced Tuesday after his morning show that he had decided to leave the network.

'I've decided to move on,' Acosta announced.

Trump was thrilled, decrying Acosta as a 'major loser' after reports surfaced about his decision to leave.

'Wow, really good news!' he wrote on social media. 'Jim Acosta, one of the worst and most dishonest reporters in journalistic history, a major sleazebag, has been relegated by CNN Fake News to the Midnight hour, “Death Valley,” because of extraordinarily BAD RATINGS (and no talent!)."

Acosta reportedly was losing his morning show in the latest CNN revamp, with the idea of getting moved to a midnight shift.

Trump indicated he had little faith in Acosta's talent, after the famous CNN figure announced he would make his future known at a later date.

"Word is that he wants to QUIT, and that would be even better,' he wrote. 'Jim is a major loser who will fail no matter where he ends up. Good luck Jim!'

Trump is correct.  Poor Jim.  He will be on MSNBC in a week.  A network of losers.
