The Department of Defense is the latest agency to terminate all diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs, along with associated race-based hiring practices and promotion of left-wing ideologies, after President Donald Trump signed an executive order that bans DEI at the federal level.

“The President’s guidance (lawful orders) is clear: No more DEI at Dept. of Defense,” Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth wrote in an X post. “The Pentagon will comply, immediately. No exceptions, name-changes, or delays.”

The post was accompanied by a handwritten note with the same message, adding “those who do not comply will no longer work here.”

None of that is done = yet. Liberals don't stop programs they believe in just because they've been legally ordered to do so.  They put them in different boxes and hide the contents.  The challenge now will be to locate them and get rid of the people who own the boxes. 0380000

The DoD will strive to provide merit-based, color-blind, equal opportunities to Service members but will not guarantee or strive for equal outcomes.”

I challenged one of my HR peoples last week.  She was explaining the importance of diversity as including people of different makes and backgrounds.  I pointed out to her that two people  can have the exact same make, background, and life experience, yet have completely diverse mindsets.

Diversity is a matter of mindset.  It is the opposite of groupthink.  The problem with these diversity efforts pushed by HR is that what they are really pushing is 'groupthink'.

Pete did a good job yesterday!  Naturally, the libs are whining on social media about him not having his suit jacket on, his sleeves rolled up, and showing his tattoos, but that is what makes him different.  He's really grown on me these past two months.
