Not only that but Biden's subsidies are suddenly going away.  That was the only thing keeping the EV companies alive, with the exception perhaps of Tesla.

Well, the mandates may be going, too. The combination of stick and carrot would be off the wagon, and true competition for a spot in the marketplace would begin.

Not really the only thing, there was also mandates.

Automakers were making EVs to satisfy the requirements Biden imposed to purchase EVs for federal agencies.

The federal government was feverishly buying tens of thousands of vehicles across federal agencies as the push was on to be 100% electric by 2032.  This included 66,000 new EV postal vehicles by 2028.

Federal mandates are a thing of the past; however, wackos from places like California will continue to keep some EV production alive, albeit at low amounts.

Well sorta. Until the next generation of Democrat control. These whipsaw events every 4 to 8 years may do more to unhinge the economy as anything else... The cure being as unsettling as the poison... And the industrial hop-to is an unhealthy bow to regulation that past industries would have fought. Just as much, and just as meaningful of a danger.

Yes, they are. My 20th century (5.7 vortec, gasoline, 4WD) Suburban is worth more than ever, and more than I paid for it (not compensating for inflation).
