The Stream’s John Zmirak appears on The Eric Metaxas Radio Show and explains how U.S. Catholic bishops openly defy U.S. immigration law while profiting from taxpayer money, to the tune of $3 billion in just 15 years. Pope Francis calls for open borders and denounces deportation of anyone for any reason as being like “slavery.” Zmirak calls on Donald Trump to prosecute the U.S. bishops for human trafficking and strip the Vatican of its immunity to sex-abuse lawsuits. “That might save my Church,” he told Metaxas, “from the money-hungry, lavender Mafia that has captured it.”

Actually, any church that feels the need to protect illegal immigrants (or other criminals, for that matter) should be allowed to do so, but only under the terms of traditional grants of sanctuary:  the persons granted sanctuary cannot leave the church grounds, and must subsist entirely on charity from the faithful and clergy of the church.  If they leave the church grounds, they are subject to arrest.

Let's see how many churches actually care enough about the "dignity" of migrants to provide them sanctuary if they have to do it the way it was always done.
And when they behead your own people in the wars which are to come, then you will know what this was all about.

In my childhood hometown, my parochial school closed due to financial reasons arising out of the child molestation suits by priests in the diocese.

Perhaps they could annex the school building as part of the parish church and house them there?
