National Border Patrol Council Vice President Art Del Cueto joins 'Fox & Friends' to react to President Trump signing executive actions declaring a national emergency and securing the southern border.

Illinois Democratic Gov. JB Pritzker bashed President Trump's executive order ending birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrants.

"That’s unconstitutional. We will not follow an unconstitutional order," Pritzker told reporters on Monday while speaking at an unrelated event, Politico reported.

Trump's order, "Protecting the Meaning and Value of American Citizenship," asserts that the 14th Amendment of the Constitution does not automatically confer American citizenship to individuals who are born within the United States.


The amendment states: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."

Even with birthright citizenship, there is no right extended to the parents.  If someone illegally enters the country and gives birth on US soil, that person still has no legal right to stay.  Said parent can still be prosecuted, convicted, incarcerated, and permanently deported.  And if they choose to surrender parental rights to a relative back home, then their US citizen baby can grow up wherever their parents came from.  Just remember that in 18 years when they begin to work, they as US citizens will be required to send the US federal taxes on their foreign income back to the US Treasury just as every other US citizen is compelled to do.  And if they don't, charge them with tax evasion.
