President-elect Trump and his family will attend church service at St. John’s Church in Lafayette Square on Monday morning.
After, the incoming president will join President Biden and first lady Jill Biden for tea at the White House.
Trump and Vice President-elect Vance will then travel to Capitol Hill to be sworn in at noon inside the U.S. Capitol, followed by an official farewell to Biden and Vice President Harris. The new president will deliver remarks following the ceremony.
NewsNation also reported Monday that Trump will sign a handful of executive orders immediately following the ceremony.
Trump will then partake in a signing ceremony to make nominations official, and there will be a luncheon hosted by the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies.
Later in the afternoon, the inaugural parade, which was moved inside due to frigid temperatures, will begin at Capital One Arena in downtown Washington. Trump is also expected to sign a flurry of executive orders at the arena.
The revamped parade will be followed by an Oval Office signing ceremony at the White House. Following that, Trump will attend three inaugural balls: the Commander in Chief Ball, the Liberty Inaugural Ball and the Starlight Ball.
