Immigration and Customs Enforcement is going to launch a “big f–king operation” in sanctuary cities immediately after President-elect Donald Trump is inaugurated, according to a new report from the New York Post.

Raids will occur in major cities, including New York City and Chicago.

According to The Post’s sources, the operation will begin on January 21, just one day after President Donald Trump returns to the White House.

The report explains:

Starting Jan. 21, multi-day “ground operations” will be launched across cities that have served as safe havens for migrants because the local authorities do not cooperate with the federal government when it comes to immigration issues, sources said.

The massive sweep is likely to target people with removal orders, according to sources.
 

Trump’s incoming border czar Tom Homan has vowed that the mass deportations will begin on Day 1 to focus on illegal immigrants who pose threats to the country.

I wonder why the MSM is focused on Chicago and immigration.  An unusually large number of articles in the US and around the world have articles about Chicago.  I think if I were Homan I wouldn't go in there tomorrow and throw the liberal "national defense" of illegals off.  I'd go other places who think the big push tomorrow is Chicago and will have their guards down.  He could drive illegals and democrats in Chicago off the deep end by staying out of there for a bit.

On Fox Homan just said that it won't happen in Chicago Tuesday since the plan was leaked...LEAKED...I heard Homan on several interviews the last several days talking about this...and the person who broke the story was Jesse Watters on his show while interviewing Homan...

Sources told The Wall Street Journal on Friday that the Trump administration is scheduled to begin its long-promised mass deportation program on Tuesday morning in Chicago. The sources expect the immigration raid to take approximately one week and said the job will require “between 100 and 200 officers” to carry out.

Sources said the Trump transition team selected Chicago as the starting point due to its status as a sanctuary city with a high number of targets, as well as President-elect Donald Trump’s ongoing feud with the city’s far-left mayor, Brandon Johnson.

The administration’s incoming border czar Tom Homan has often said they will pursue illegal immigrants with criminal backgrounds before expanding their operations.

During a December visit to the Windy City, Homan stated, “We’re going to start right here in Chicago, Illinois. And if the Chicago mayor doesn’t want to help, he can step aside. But if he impedes us, if he knowingly harbors or conceals an illegal alien, I will prosecute him.”

Illinois’ Democratic Gov. JB Pritzker responded to Homan’s threat through the media, saying, “I’m going to make sure to follow the law. I’m concerned that the Trump administration and his lackeys aren’t going to follow the law.”

Offensive?  I find it offensive that ILLEGAL aliens were given a 'title' different from that.  They are here ILLEGALLY period.

I anticipate extreme resistance by the ACLU, LaRaza and other groups and they will try to stop deportations.

Why a blue city in a blue state like Chicago?

Mr. Homan should focus on the smaller, white-majority cities and towns in RED states that have been swamped with nonwhite illegals by mayorkas. Springfield, Ohio comes to mind.

Either round them up for deportation, or inform them that, being illegal, they MIGHT be subject to future deportation, but they have a "better chance" of putting that off for a  while by moving to cities like Chicago, New York, Denver, or states like California and Massachusetts.

The idea is that even if it's not feasible to "deport them all" at the moment, get them "migrating" from the red states to the blue ones.

Then let the leftist states handle 'em... for now.
