Glenn Beck said Friday he believes there may be sinister forces at play around President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration, offering a chilling theory for the sudden announcement that most of the ceremony will now take place indoors.

The Blaze commentator reacted to Trump’s notice earlier in the day that his team will begin preparing for a swearing-in ceremony inside the Capitol rotunda. Trump chalked the change up to inclement weather — temperatures are expected to be in the low 20s next Monday — but given his past assassination attempts, the real reason could relate to his personal safety, Beck posited.

“I think this is why they’re moving the inauguration and all of the people that were going to Washington to stand out in the cold to witness it inside. They’re moving all of the dignitaries inside, where it will be a private event, and one of the stadiums there, inside, they’re moving all of them inside and saying ‘don’t show up at the Capitol, show up at this arena,'” Beck explained.

That they are aware of a credible threat really is a reasonable explanation for going inside - but it's also true that it will be extremely cold (about 3 degrees here, and we're not all that far from DC).

Continued prayers for both Trump and Vance.  Yes, I'm very excited for the inauguration, but I am worried as I don't trust the CIA, FBI and others that are supposed to be protecting them.

Another thought; what about all the drone sightings that have been reported??  That has been silenced??  I think that there was much more to those sightings and our gov't is fully aware and/or involved.

People on twitter are going nuts claiming Trump will be sworn in tonight...very high security issues...not going to risk swearing in at the Capitol... 9999hair out0000

How about reality???  Drone sightings have just miraculously disappeared but Trump's motorcade is equipped with drone jamming systems, the DC police refuse to protect him, his own SS can't be trusted, munitions from the FBI have disappeared ....

With two assassination attempts do you really think that they're moving the venue inside because it's cold?  Come on!!

I don't think that the Constitutions specifically states the 20th day of January, but that has been the tradition.

Nine vice presidents have succeeded to the presidency upon the death or resignation of the president. In these situations the oath of office was administered to the new president as quickly as possible, as doing so allowed the presidency to continue uninterrupted.

Twentieth Amendment
Section 1

The terms of the President and the Vice President shall end at noon on the 20th day of January, and the terms of Senators and Representatives at noon on the 3d day of January, of the years in which such terms would have ended if this article had not been ratified; and the terms of their successors shall then begin.

Section 3

If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President.

Nope, can't happen  Jan 20 at noon is set in the 20th Amendment to the Constitution.

Just because we are paranoid doesn't mean they are  not after Trump.

I am certain the list is long of folks that want him gone, by any means possible.  And with government branches that are not worth a good BM, the situation is worse yet.  The Secret Service, FBI, CIA and who knows how many others are NOT to be trusted any longer.

All these agencies should be rifted to the bone.  ALL!!!
