‘It’s Outrageous’: Blue State Battles Exploitation of Sanctuary Policies
Story by Grace Hall • 15h

Dominican migrant Leonardo Andujar Sanchez was recently arrested for storing an AR-15 and over 400 grams of fentanyl at a government-funded shelter in Revere, Massachusetts. Sanchez also possessed cocaine valued at approximately $750,000 and is now in state custody facing federal charges. Boston Mayor Michelle Wu has not commented on Sanchez's arrest, and has previously defended Boston's sanctuary policies, claiming they enhance safety for all residents.
In this photo gallery, we assess Wu's silence.
