LOS ANGELES — Furious Los Angeles residents say they’re desperate for leadership as the city continues to burn.

They say Gov. Gavin Newsom appears more focused on putting out the fire on his own political career, while Mayor Karen Bass seems to have faded into the woodwork.

Retired accountant Eddie De Ferrari, 52, was forced to flee the Eaton Fire in LA County. He returned to find his floors and furniture were covered in a fine layer of ash, but the house was still standing.

That's just for today.  Come the next elections, Mejifornia, being infested by many excellent democrats with short memories who place electing liberals to office, even over their personal lives, will still vote the way they have always done and will get what they have obviously always gotten - incompetence.

Rich neighborhoods are hiring private firefighting contractors to save their neighborhoods.  They weren't willing to trust Government officials and agencies to safeguard their community from wildfires.

They could afford to not have to trust or depend on incompetent government officials.
