Starbucks Learns Its Lesson, Reverses Policy It Implemented to Appease Woke Mob

Starbucks is reversing a policy that allowed individuals to remain in stores without paying for any items as part of new rules meant to increase staff and customer safety.

The coffee chain will start to post signage explicitly banning harassment, violence, threatening language, and other vices like smoking, panhandling, and bringing outside alcohol into locations, according to a Monday report from The Wall Street Journal.

“There is a need to reset expectations for how our spaces should be used, and who uses them,” Starbucks North America President Sara Trilling wrote in a letter, per the Journal.

Have they reached you in the hinterland yet?

The demise of Starbucks' premium urban locations since covid and at home has caused them to enter some pretty small markets.

They are now building in small towns of less than 5k population around me.  I suppose it is a desperate move to keep growth up as they shutter the urban stores.

First Starbucks I ever entered was in Beijing in 2001.  Have tried hard to avoid at all costs since.

Starbucks never learns.  They sell poser juice to posers.  They have a captive audience and they can do what they want.
You don’t become cooler with age but you do care progressively less about being cool, which is the only true way to actually be cool.
