When will America realize that climate change is a hoax?

By “climate change,” I mean the idea of an overwhelmingly anthropogenic and sudden rise in the Earth’s temperature to catastrophic levels.  I have not seen convincing proof of climate change in this sense.

I have lived for almost 80 years, and I have not witnessed any perceptible change.  The summers are hot, as they were when I was a child.  The winters are cold, much too cold for my taste, just as they were when I was out sledding, building snow forts, and throwing snowballs at my friends.  There is still plenty of snow to do so.

So where is the evidence of global warming?

Those who believe that man-made warming is devastating the economy will have a hard time proving it.  Living standards today are far better than in the1940s, with U.S. GDP in 1940 at $8,824 per person in inflation-adjusted dollars.  As of 2023, it was $82,769.  With regard to the climate, the only thing that seems to have changed is the rise of a powerful and orchestrated climate change lobby intent on taking over the energy sector in order to vastly increase government power and reduce human freedom.

The real question is, do you believe your own eyes or the report of a government-funded academic whose salary depends on providing evidence of warming?  Much of America is now experiencing a polar vortex and blizzard of major proportions.  Reportedly, every state in the continental U.S. will be affected by this storm, with most of the East hit by cold, snow, and ice, and the Southern states experiencing thunderstorms and cold rain.  According to APnews, it “may be the highest snowfall in at least a decade.”

London, 27 February: 2023 marked 50 years of international cooperation to protect polar bears across the Arctic. Those efforts have been a conservation success story: from a population estimated at about 12,000 bears in the late 1960s, numbers have almost tripled, to just over 32,000 in 2023.

There were no reports from the Arctic in 2023 indicating polar bears were being harmed due to lack of summer sea ice habitat, in part because Arctic sea ice in summer has not declined since 2007.

Contrary to expectations, a study in Svalbard found a decrease in polar bears killed in defense of life or property over the last 40 years, despite profound declines in sea ice over the last two decades.

A survey of Southern Hudson Bay polar bears in 2021 showed an astonishing 30% increase over five years, which adds another 223 bears to the global total.

A concurrent survey of Western Hudson Bay polar bears in 2021 showed that numbers had not declined since 2011, which also means they have not declined since 2004. Movement of bears across boundaries with neighbouring subpopulations may account for the appearance of a decline, when none actually occurred.

The IUCN Polar Bear Specialist Group has ignored a 2016 recommendation that the boundaries of three Hudson Bay subpopulations (Western HB, Southern HB, and Foxe Basin) be adjusted to account for genetic distinctiveness of bears inhabiting the Hudson Bay region; a similar boundary issue in the western Arctic between the Chukchi Sea, and the Southern and Northern Beaufort subpopulations, based on known movements of bears between regions, has been acknowledged since 2014 but has not yet been resolved.

The US Fish and Wildlife Service and the IUCN Polar Bear Specialist Group, in their 2023 reports, failed to officially acknowledge the new-found South-East Greenland population as the 20th subpopulation, despite undisputed evidence this is a genetically distinct and geographically isolated group. Numbers are estimated at 234 individuals.

Actually, we can thank the internet. It gives people who are not in compliance with the narrative an opportunity to present rebuttal, and even the case against the narrative.

We have fount that it takes time, but even the most egregious lies of COVID have been proven, and what's more that those who told them were not mistaken, but knew better when they told them.

When "The Science^TM"* was proven to be a liar, even though we doubted the veracity of the purveyors of the climate panic from the beginning (reinforced by the failure of the promised doom to appear), then all "science" becomes open to being reinvestigated and verified (as it should be, anyway).

*Dr Fauci, who declared himself "The Science" during the COVID pandemic. If something so vital as the health of billions is being treated with so little integrity, that opens questioning the integrity of all else that claims to be based in science to reinvestigation and verification or refutation--especially when the transfer of billions of dollars or political power is involved.

Abstract

The emphasis on a false climate crisis is becoming a tragedy for modern civilization, which depends on reliable, economic, and environmentally viable energy. The windmills, solar panels and backup batteries have none if these qualities. This falsehood is pushed by a powerful lobby which Bjorn Lomborg has called a climate industrial complex, comprising some scientists, most media, industrialists, and legislators. It has somehow managed to convince many that CO2 in the atmosphere, a gas necessary for life on earth, one which we exhale with every breath, is an environmental poison. Multiple scientific theories and measurements show that there is no climate crisis. Radiation forcing calculations by both skeptics and believers show that the carbon dioxide radiation forcing is about 0.3% of the incident radiation, far less than other effects on climate. Over the period of human civilization, the temperature has oscillated between quite a few warm and cold periods, with many of the warm periods being warmer than today. During geological times, it and the carbon dioxide level have been all over the place with no correlation between them.

So where is the evidence of global warming?

Easy.  Capitalists still have money.  Therefore, global warming exists.  And the only cure for global warming is to free capitalists of their money (at the point of a government gun).
