Trump will be inaugurated as the nation’s 47th president on January 20, and reports indicate that he plans to arrive at the Oval Office armed with over 100 executive orders dealing with border and energy security. He met with Republican senators Wednesday and talked about his plans, and some of the participants are revealing what he said.
 

During a Thursday morning appearance on "Fox & Friends" Sen. Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla., said that Trump indicated that there are almost 100 executive orders to address issues like border security and U.S. energy.

"He threw that out — 100 — there could be like 100 EOs, yeah. I believe him," Sen. Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., noted to The Hill.

Senators were provided previews regarding some of what they were informed would be 100 executive orders, two sources noted to Axios. Stephen Miller, who Trump has tapped to serve in his new administration, discussed plans for using executive authority to tackle border and immigration beginning day one, the outlet reported.

I'm hopeful that Trump will be able to get this done. American sovereignty is crucial.

............we're putting in motion a set of executive orders on day one for President Trump they'll represent the most comprehensive border security plan in American history. Nothing like this has ever been done before. It is the most robust, sweeping, far reaching set of executive actions and authorities necessitated by this national emergency that anyone has ever contemplated, and when that is put into place, it will, once and for all, restore American sovereignty, and will also restore the idea that the defense department has a fundamental role, has a core role in securing the homeland from foreign invasion.

We're not going to accept anymore that the defense department secures the borders of every country but our own. We are going to use the defense department to secure the border of our country...............
