ABC News legal analyst Sunny Hostin said Monday on ABC’s “The View” that the United States should not “move on” from the events of January 6, 2021, because it “was one of the worst moments in American history” like World War II, the Holocaust and slavery.

Hostin said, “I think we need to find moral clarity you know in this country. And I just remember after January 6 you had someone like Mitch McConnell placing the blame on January 6 where it belonged squarely on Donald Trump’s shoulders and then you started seeing people backtrack that and losing their moral center. You had Condoleezza Rice, I believe, on this very show saying, you know, we need to move on from January 6.”

She continued, “I say no, you don’t move on because January 6 was an atrocity.”

Hostin added, “It was one of the worst moments in American history. And when you think about the worst moments in American history, you know, like World War II things like happened like the Holocaust, chattel slavery. We need to never forget because past becomes prologue if you forget and erase. We need to never forget because past becomes prologue if you forget and erase.”

It was a setup, the CHeka, the Stasi, the Gestapo and the KGB all rolled into one unconstitutional witch hunt complete with SOviet style show trials and an inner city gulag.
Move on? Never should have been there in the first place.

Those who coordinated and perpetrated this should be prosecuted and punished.

An estimated 15 million human beings died in battle, with another 45 million-plus civilians killed, according to the National World War II Museum in New Orleans. The United States alone counted at least 418,500 dead over the course of its engagement. You get those kinds of fatalities in a world war.  ...

January 6th will be a blip of history because of the lack of consequences for the highest level conspirators.

January 6th is a Nothing Burger because Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy, Joe Biden and Merrick Garland whiffed.

Old classic Marxist tactic. Keep the focus on one small thing and then act as it's the most traumatic and destructive thing that ever occurred in History, but make sure to exclude any fact that destroys the false narrative.

You don't get to use the tactics of Stalin and Mao and consider yourself credible Sunny.
