President Biden will award the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor, to former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, billionaire Democratic megadonor George Soros and several others at a White House ceremony on Saturday.

The White House said Clinton, Soros and the 17 other recipients of the prestigious award are “individuals who have made exemplary contributions to the prosperity, values, or security of the United States, world peace, or other significant societal, public or private endeavors.”

“President Biden believes great leaders keep the faith, give everyone a fair shot, and put decency above all else,” the White House said in a statement. “These nineteen Americans are great leaders who have made America a better place. They are great leaders because they are good people who have made extraordinary contributions to their country and the world.”  ...

It is really puzzling on why Biden didn't hand out those medals to Hillary and Soros at one of the dozens of meetings he had with them while he was on his Delaware vacations, isn't it?

Well, the Dems are consistent:  First they will next week get a crooked NY judge to sentence Trump prior to his being sworn in again as President in order to taint him as a convicted felon, and secondly make this award to Hillary to make it seem even more vindictive of Trump to prosecute her as a 'favored American'.

Both attempts will fail.

As my esteemed colleague Matt Margolis noted yesterday evening, by handing out presidential medals NOT on the basis of merit, but via opportunism, personal enrichment, and the desire to punish your political opponents, one of President Biden’s lasting legacies will be the dilution of these honors. They’ve lost their prestige. They no longer recognize someone’s greatness, but their utility to the Democrats in the White House.

So if we’re going to dilute the awards and hand ‘em out to people such as Messi, Soros, Bono, and Nye, why not give one to Hunter Biden, too?
