This denial of assistance is reasonable.Is the retail outlet layout for the convivence of the customer? Is the sales representative a non stop talker?Do they have what you are in the market for, or is the sales rep high pressuring you focusing on their highest profit item?Are items relocated each time you visit the outlet?I find that a well organized layout and brief sales contact preferable.Why would a store refer to a customer as an idiot?It would seem the store manager is the idiot.
