VIDEO: H1-B Visa Controversy Stirred Up by Usual Suspects

Listen to the usual suspects attempt to stir up doubt over Trump's judgement about the H-1B Visa program. The tag team of usual suspects of paid DNC shill Harry J. Sisson, Snaggletooth, and Joyless Reid sound astoundingly alike perhaps because they are reading their scripts from the same playbook. Yes, this whole thing stinks of an astro-turf operation designed to sow discord among MAGA and to keep Elon Musk from leading DOGE which is greatly feared by Rupert Murdoch.

No, Elon Musk and Rivek Ramaswamy were the ones who stirred it up, needlessly.  And Trump is apparently backing H-1Bs now.  So that's all on them and not the media.

We don't have an H1-B problem.  We have a problem with giving out free shit to aliens who entered the country illegally.  A lot of free shit.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

Look back on 45/47's history: we know his resort hired hundreds of hospitality workers (i.e. wait staff and cooks) from Eastern Europe on the H-1B VISA program. Exactly what skill in short supply is required to wait on tables or cook pre-planned food? We're not talking sommelier or chef or even sous-chef, we're talking waitress and fry cook.

Really? No where in Florida were there US citizens or resident aliens capable of doing that work?

We know that's not true because several hospitality workers came forward to say they applied for work at the resort and were never even contacted for an interview.

Of course the H-1B VISA program is great for employers, they can hire staff at a 30-50% discount.

So, we had Democrat open borders and great replacement theory because we're all a bunch of descendants of colonialists and slave holders.

Now we have Republican open borders and great replacement theory because they want to hire ringers (Musk's sports analogy) to win.

They win, we lose.
No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

We don't have an H1-B problem.

We actually do, particularly in the IT industry, in which higher paid Americans are laid off and replaced by low-paid foreign nationals, often through third party overseas "staffing services," which take a cut of the money they make.  Totally corrupt, and the Americans are often forced to train their foreign replacements just before lay-off, or else no severance.  Like I said on the other thread, I have some friends who had to do exactly that.

It's been going on for nearly 30 years too:

H1B - H-1B Visa - 1995 report from 48 Hours and Dan Rather

And this from 2015:

Southern California Edison IT workers ‘beyond furious’ over H-1B replacements

Quote
Information technology workers at Southern California Edison (SCE) are being laid off and replaced by workers from India. Some employees are training their H-1B visa holding replacements, and many have already lost their jobs.

The employees are upset and say they can’t understand how H-1B guest workers can be used to replace them.

The IT organization’s “transition effort” is expected to result in about 400 layoffs, with “another 100 or so employees leaving voluntarily,” SCE said in a statement. The “transition,” which began in August, will be completed by the end of March, the company said.

“They are bringing in people with a couple of years’ experience to replace us and then we have to train them,” said one longtime IT worker. “It’s demoralizing and in a way I kind of felt betrayed by the company.”

SCE, Southern California’s largest utility, has confirmed the layoffs and the hiring of Infosys, based in Bangalore, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in Mumbai. They are two of the largest users of H-1B visas.

But the problems are not mutually exclusive.
